Vanguard: Saga of Heroes' Shadow Hound Bounds into Action
Basingstoke, 1st December 2006 - Koch Media, Sony Online Entertainment and Sigil Games Online today released new footage from the upcoming massively multiplayer online role-playing game, Vanguard: Saga of Heroes. The Shadow Hound is one of several high-level land mounts players can acquire as they journey across diverse terrain on three massive continents. Discovering their first land mount at level 10, adventurers will encounter many methods of transportation in the world of Telon, ranging from mystical unicorns to air-born griffons. Flying mounts to majestic ships offer players limitless opportunity to explore the tumultuous seas, deep canyons, and hazardous cliffs throughout the world. Currently in closed beta, Vanguard immerses players in a rich fantasy world, based on the artwork of the late Keith Parkinson. Vanguard: Saga of Hereoes is scheduled to be released Q1 of 2007.
The only limits are your own in the world of Telon, where the adventurous can choose from multiple paths of exploration within the three spheres of advancement, Adventuring, Crafting, and Diplomacy. Players can delve into the mysteries of Telon, and embark upon quests to slay monstrous beasts locked deep inside rugged mountain ranges. Those with a quick mind can use diplomacy to convince kings to move armies and change the course of history. With player-crafted boats, flying mounts, and customizable player housing, Vanguard offers players a world of their own choosing.
