Unity passes 100,000 user milestone

New announcements from growing tech firm at GDC next month

Unity Technologies has announced that the Unity development platform has surpassed 100,000 registered users.

The tech is available for web, PC, Mac, Wii and iPhone formats, with the team set to make new expansion announcements at GDC next month.

"It’s amazing we’ve reached this milestone so quickly," offered David Helgason, CEO of Unity Technologies. "We remain laser focused on pushing the edge in interactive 3D development and expanding usability, power and platform reach so developers can continue to create breakthrough content and take advantage of all the opportunities out there."
