Ubisoft confirmed for E3 2023

Assassin's Creed publisher "still finalising the details" but promises a "strong line-up" in Los Angeles this summer

Ubisoft has confirmed to GamesIndustry.biz that it will be returning to E3 this summer.

There was confusion over the Assassin's Creed publisher's plans after CEO Yves Guillemot said his company would be there "if E3 happens," as reported by VG247.

E3 2023 is being organised by GamesIndustry.biz parent ReedPop. Lance Fensterman, president of ReedPop, told IGN in a statement that E3 would still happen and is "full speed ahead."

When asked for clarification, a Ubisoft spokesperson told GamesIndustry.biz: "E3 is a special moment for our industry and we are excited to showcase our strong line-up in Los Angeles in June.

"We are still finalising the details of our plans and look forward to sharing more soon."

E3 2023 will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center from Tuesday, June 13 to Friday, June 16. The first two days will be for business attendees only, while the Thursday will be for both trade and consumers, and Friday will be consumers only.

Last month, it was reported that Xbox, Sony and Nintendo would not be on the E3 showfloor.

However, Microsoft has confirmed it will have a physical showcase in Los Angeles this June (most likely at the neighbouring Microsoft Theater).
