Bratislava, Slovakia – May 27, 2010 – Independent game developer Floating Minds today released a new trailer for its upcoming free multiplayer online action game Tunnelers for PC. The trailer can be viewed at Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Su5GhrCq8fo.

Players are welcomed to apply for the closed Beta test at www.tunnelers.com. All Beta testers will be awarded for their contribution with the special achievement in the full version of the game. Tunnelers is expect to launch Q3 2010.

The Tunnelers Trailer

The trailer shows Tunnelers’ fast-paced game action. Players dig underground tunnels, battle with tanks, and use different weapon technologies and upgrades. The game takes place in various environments and arenas available for up to 16 players. Tunnelers has gorgeous 3D graphics using top-down camera views. This combination offers graphically rich details while preserving good control of the battleground even during the toughest fights.

Tunnelers: The Underground Story

Tunnelers is set 2159 A.D. , the year the ultimate energy resource, Carretium, is discovered underground. Two human factions – the PICaDor and Clayram – are longtime adversaries fighting for supremacy, when they discover a mysterious race of Agartha…and the underground battle for survival begins.

Gamers fight underground with tanks with different features of digging, movement, speed, energy, shields, and the power to cause massive damage. Players can stand for three different sides, each using a unique technology, and boost tanks with various upgrades during the game. They collect awards and achievements to raise the scoreboards!

Four Multiplayer Modes

At launch, Tunnelers will offer the following multiplayer modes:

Free for All: Player is on his own against everybody else.

Team Showdown: Teams battle against each other.

Capture the Flag: Teams try to capture the flag of the opposing team and bring it to home base.

Dominion: Teams try to conquer given bases on a map and defend them as long as possible.
