Trinigy at GDC 2006: New licensees and Xbox 360 scenes

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Eningen/Germany, March 7th, 2006: Trinigy GmbH, a market-leading provider of 3D Game Engines, today announced new licensees for the Vision Game Engine as well as an updated and improved version of the Vision Xbox 360 SDK. The latest version of the technology will also be showcased live at GDC 2006.

The features of the new Vision Xbox 360 SDK have initially been presented to the public at Microsoft's Winter Xfest '06 in London, UK. "I was truly amazed by Trinigy's new Xbox 360 version.", says Tracey Frankom, Program Manager, Game Technology Group at Microsoft. "The scenario showcased at Xfest is beautiful and technically impressive and it excellently highlights the capabilities of the Xbox 360TM."

Furthermore, Trinigy announced agreements with multiple new licensees of its Vision Engine. Sproing, located in Vienna/Austria, is using Vision and its unique lighting and shadowing system for an upcoming adventure game title with stunning graphics. "We're glad that Sproing joined the steadily growing circle of Vision licensees", says Dag Frommhold, Managing Partner at Trinigy. "The fact that the Vision Game Engine already powers more than 40 game projects clearly shows that Trinigy has set the focus right - besides providing a cutting-edge game engine, we have always set a high value on being a true technology partner for all of our customers." Further new licensees include Kangtu LLC, a Chinese developer of massively multiplayer online games, and the German company Crenetic GmbH, with which Trinigy has signed a multi-license contract.

On this foundation, Trinigy plans to further increase its market share in Europe, Asia and the US. The firm will have a meeting booth (#4408) at this year's GDC, taking place at San Jose, CA from March 20-24th. Developers and publishers interested in the Vision engine are welcome to arrange a meeting at GDC and should send an email to gdc@trinigy.de.
