Townsmen 4 tipped for success!

On March 20th, 2007, leading German mobile games developer HandyGames has released the fourth part of the successful Townsmen-series. The first three parts already have set milestones on the sector of build-up-strategy-games for mobile phones and have received numerous international awards, e.g. best title of the year by mobile portal operator Jamba (Townsmen 2).
Today, only a short time after the official release, Townsmen 4 already has achieved remarkable accomplishments! The game wasn't desperately expected by end users, network operators and free portals, but also caused a stir in the press. Believe it or not, the title did win five awards in just one week!
"Townsmen 4 is for the mobile phone what The Settlers is for the PC: a true reference concerning build-up-strategy-games!", says Simon Biedermann, chief editor of leading German mobile games magazine Airgamer ( www.airgamer.de). The magazine also praises the game as an ingenious strategy game with a funny story and great gameplay.
"Additionally, the game has cute graphics and an endless-mode, that will enthral the player for a long time.", adds Handy-Player.de in its review. The German Online-magazine Play2Go applauds the high motivation factor and already looks forward to a successor: "A graphical feast, that shouldn't be missing on all current mobile phones. We are already looking forward to the fifth part." Marc König from Areamobile.de praises the game's ingenious sound track in his test that has an overall rating of 94%: " there are five different melodies, that greatly support the flair of the game and that don't get on your nerves after a short time."
The international press is likewise enthusiastic about Townsmen 4! The magazine Mobilegamefaqs.com prized the game with an Icecold Award and a rating of 90%,.
French website Jeuxpo.com gave 8.5/10 and Italian portal Gamefun.it rated it 8.3/10.
Pocketgamer.co.uk's testers praised the game, too:
"It's refreshing to play a mobile game as complicated as Townsmen 4, especially one so well-executed. A world away from the one thumb games we've been seeing lately, in Townsmen 4 there's a million and one things to manage, keep track of, and adjust, and we can't get enough of it. This game will suck you in with its unique, cutesy, but ruthlessly in-depth brand of town management, and once you've started, you won't be able to stop." (8 out of 10)

games. The next game that will set standards for sure, will be the round-based strategy-hit Panzer Tactics. The title is developed in close cooperation with 10tacle Studios and will be released on April 17th 2007.
