Touch KO

United Kingdom – 25th March 2009 – Chillingo Ltd, Europe’s premier iPhone publisher has announced today at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco the imminent launch of their upcoming 3D virtual boxing game for the iPhone and iPod Touch - Touch KO.

The brainchild of US-based computer games designers Adam and Matt Mechtley, Touch KO gives the gamer a chance to advance through a boxing career, starting from humble beginnings in a run-down gym, all the way to the glamorous grand arena for the title fight. The game allows for full 3D customization of the virtual fighter including facial and body, clothing and even tattoos. It features innovative game play making use of the unique multi-touch and accelerometer capabilities of the device.

“This Fight Night inspired game is going to be a real knock-out when it debuts in Q2 this year. The Mechtley brothers are very passionate in what they do, and Touch KO is the ultimate showcase for innovation of a touch-screen based 3D boxing game.” says Chris Byatte, co-Founder and Managing Director for Chillingo.
