Tony Hawk: Ride to retail at £99.99 in UK

Activision confirms date and price for new game and wireless, motion-sensing skateboard peripheral

The new Tony Hawk: Ride game complete with wireless, motion-sensing peripheral will retail at GBP 99.99, according to several retail sites.

And retailer GAME has won the rights to an exclusive, limited-edition version of the game, which will come with a special red and black skateboard designed by Tony Hawk for the same price. The special version, says the retailer's website, will be made available to gamers in strictly limited numbers.

The game is to be released in the UK on November 20 on the Wii, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms.

Activision Blizzard's latest Q2 financials were released earlier today, during which the company pledged a number of other key titles would be released throughout 2009, including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Guitar Hero 5, DJ Hero, Band Hero and Bakugan Battle Brawlers.

The release dates for Singularity and Blizzard's StarCraft II though have been moved to 2010.
