The Lord of the Rings Online™: Shadows of Angmar™ Tops the UK Sales Charts!

The Most Anticipated MMO Game of 2007 Beats all Expectations as LOTRO Claims No 1 Spot!

Codemasters Online Gaming today announced that the most anticipated MMO of 2007 The Lord of the Rings Online today officially topped the PC sales charts across the UK. Codemasters Online Gaming has seen unprecedented demand for the game since pre-orders went live earlier this month with hundreds of thousands of players already packing their bags and moving to Middle-earth.

Codemasters Online Gaming are also pleased to reveal the games first official update titled " Book 9: Shores of Evendim". Scheduled for June, this totally free update includes an entirely new landscape region, over 60 additional quests, the Battle for Helegrod raid, nine new monsters and major enhancements to Monster Play and the music system.

The Lord of the Rings Online is now available for purchase at major retailers across Europe in Standard, Special and Collector's Edition packs.
