Wednesday 9 March 2005 - Today, Nintendo unveiled The Bear, of Channel 4's Bo'Selecta!, as the face of the revolutionary new gaming console, Nintendo DS. The Bear touched, rubbed and blew the crowd away, as he got to grips with the new handheld whilst sharing his sofa with four stunning female Nintendo fans.
The Bear was heard excitedly growling that: "This new machine is UNTOLD!!!"
With its dual screens, touch-screen technology, wireless gaming for up to 16 players, voice recognition and advanced full colour 3D graphics, fans across the UK are desperate to get their paws on it too.
Nintendo DS launches on Friday 11 March, however, five Virgin Megastores will be holding official midnight store openings on Thursday 10 March. London, Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow and Liverpool, will all be reopening their stores to let true fans be the first to own a Nintendo DS.
