Atari's Top Racer Showcased at TRAX 2006 on Sunday 3rd September 2006

LONDON, ENGLAND - 1 September 2006 - Atari, today announced they are showcasing their critically acclaimed title for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, Test Drive Unlimited, at one of the UK's biggest and loudest modified car and track events, TRAX 2006.

TRAX is widely considered to be the modified and performance car enthusiast's favorite show and is best known as the ultimate finale to the car show season. Last year saw more visitors than ever pass through the gates to soak up the atmosphere, and an excess of 20,000 petrol heads are expected to converge to the world famous Silverstone Circuit this weekend for some turbo charged action.

Atari's new Test Drive Unlimited game, which has captured the imagination of the world's motoring media, will be on show at the Test Drive Unlimited Pit, as well as at the Redline Pit, one of the main show sponsors. At the Test Drive Unlimited Pit punters will be able to get a glimpse of the stunning UK glamour model Holly Newbury who will be signing posters and posing for photo opportunities with a Lamborghini Murcielago which will also be on show. In addition to getting their hands on the game ahead of its release next week, visitors will be given the chance to win copies of the game with Xbox 360 consoles also up for grabs.
