Ten days left for Develop speaker submissions

Brighton event welcomes session suggestions until March 1

The organisers of the Develop Conference in Brighton, taking place this year between July 14-16, have called on all speaker submissions for this year's event to be in by the deadline of March 1, now just ten days away.

The event, in its fourth year this year, is expected to attract at least 1200 delegates to the South of England, and anybody with a suggestion for session content is invited to submit ideas via the official website.

"Game developers across the UK and Europe have come to regard the Develop Conference as the leading event for their community," said Andy Lane, managing director of Tandem Events. "Each year it attracts a stellar cast of some of the industry's most informative, thought-provoking and entertaining speakers and the call for submissions offers the chance for developers themselves help shape the programme.

"It combines lively, topical sessions and debates, plus the prestigious Develop Awards and a host of other networking events, so if developers only go to one event in 2009, it's got to be Brighton in July."

News on the first confirmed keynotes is expected shortly, and GamesIndustry.biz will feature an interview with advisory board chairman Owain Bennallack in the next few weeks.
