Sword of the Stars: Born of Blood

Update 1.5.3 released, offering assorted refinements and bugfixes.

Haarlem, The Netherlands – July 23, 2008 – Today Update 1.5.3 was released for Born of Blood, the official add-on to the highly acclaimed 4X space strategy game for the PC Sword of the Stars. This exemplifies leading Publisher Lighthouse Interactive and accomplished developer Kerberos Productions’ continued commitment to the vast Sword of the Stars community.

Note: This patch requires version 1.5.2 installed (or an installation of SOTS CE)

• AI Optimizations – Hiver turn processing much faster on low-end machines

• Command point bonus in combat bug fixed – players were getting less ships than they should, but players with the same number of ships got the same bonus (very rare bug)

• Players can now properly join multiplayer through command line for use with Xfire

• Corrections and improvements to auto resolved combat, particularly for certain random encounters and a few overlooked weapons
