Dublin, Ireland – 24th September 2009. This autumn is going to be fiery, as the gPotato Europe team is delighted to announce an extensive Shop Update and new exciting events in Street Gears, the free cell-shaded inline skating MMO, available in French and German throughout Europe.

Many changes have been made to the new look Street Gears. Among them, a whole new range of cool and trendy clothes is available to further customize your character. But that is not all; we are also presenting you the new and most finely tuned skates “Iron Ghost”. These can be purchased and upgraded with the money players collected during hard races and will bring them to a whole new level of speed. Many other new items are now available in the game to further enhance your gaming experience.

From the 24th-30th September 2009 riders are invited to take part in the “Coin Tournament”, our brand new tournament. The goal is not only to be the fastest but also to collect as many coins as possible. Every 10 coins you collect will deduct a second from your total track time – so striking the right balance between collecting coins and being fast will ensure your victory. Many amazing prizes await the winners of these challenging races.

Join the “Park Town Traditions Festival” beginning on the 8th October 2009. Recent studies of Dr. Brown show that Park Town has a history going way back and consisting of many cultures and traditions. In order to honour those traditions Park Town will celebrate its very own Traditions Festival beginning on October 8th. There will be plenty of tournaments contests and chances to win cool prizes, so don’t miss it!
