Strategic Command WWII Global Conflict

To be released in assorted territories on August 20th by Excalibur Publishing.

For immediate release

Excalibur Publishing Ltd is due to release ‘Strategic Command WWII Global Conflict’ to the market on August 20th, 2010 in conjunction with Battlefront/Fury software. Wage World War II across the entire planet for the first time using the largest playable map created in the series .

Command the forces of over 60 different major and minor nations and send your troops to battle. Major improvements have been made since releasing the last Strategic Command title, ensuring that the unique nature of World War II on a global scale is portrayed realistically. The new War Mobilisation and Belligerence settings properly model the complex war situations that existed during the conflict. Also, for the first time in the series, Germany can be at war with all of the Allied Powers while Japan may only be at war with China and the UK.

To add historical flavour and re playability, over 200 different in-game events are now depicted and your choices and decisions control the outcome of the game. Over 50 different decision events will guarantee a unique experience each time the game is played. For instance would you as the British Government so desperately need Destroyers against German U-boats that you would give several naval bases to the USA?

Robert Stallibrass of Excalibur Publishing says: “The full Game Editor once again allows you to modify or create your own scenarios, campaigns and maps. Enjoy battling against the award-winning AI or take advantage of full multiplayer support for Hotseat, E-Mail and Network play.”

The product will retail at £24.99, is available on pre-order at www.excalibur-publishing.com and will officially hit the shelves in all major game retailers on 20 August 2010.
