Splinter Cell 2 for March '04

Ubi Soft's Pandora Tomorrow, next year

French publisher Ubi Soft has revealed that the follow-up to the hugely popular Splinter Cell is currently slated for a March 2004 launch, with a simultaneous release on all key console platforms and on the PC expected.

Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow, early screenshots of which were leaked this week, was the key title of last Christmas for the Xbox, and performed well on other platforms when it was released on them earlier this year.

Of course, March 2004 is still quite a way off, and with Splinter Cell being such a major coup for Microsoft's console when it first arrived, we wouldn't be at all surprised to see a limited exclusivity deal put in place which sees it arriving on the Xbox a few months ahead of the other systems...
