Sony reveals PS3 software pricing for US

Sony has revealed that the recommended retail price of games for its upcoming PlayStation 3 is USD $59.99 (47 euro).

Sony has revealed that the recommended retail price of games for its upcoming PlayStation 3 in North America is USD $59.99 (EUR 47).

An official Sony website, SonyStyle.com, has a range of first-party and third-party developed titles for pre-order ahead of the launch on November 17th.

Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII, Call of Duty 3, Full Auto 2: Battlelines, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Sonic the Hedgehog, Tony Hawkâs Project 8 and Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom are all listed.

Microsoft currently sets an RRP of USD $59.99 for third-party Xbox 360 titles in the region, with first-party titles selling cheaper at USD $49.99 (EUR 39).

A spokesperson for Sony Computer Entertainment Europe refused to comment on the pricing of software.
