SIEGE 2009

This weekend's event in Atlanta includes College and Career Fair.

Atlanta, GA – September 28, 2009 – The Georgia Game Developers Association (GGDA) today announced the colleges and companies taking part it its third annual Southern Interactive Entertainment and Game Expo (SIEGE). Scheduled or Oct 2 – 4, 2009, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel – Atlanta Perimeter NW (Powers Ferry Rd), SIEGE focuses on the connections that fuel the fast-growing video game industry in the southeast.

The College and Career Fair will be held Saturday, October 3, 2009, from 10am to 2pm, and is free and open to the public. This event gives students and job seekers the opportunity to interface directly with digital entertainment companies that are hiring, and allows schools to present their various programs in game design, programming, animation, and other related digital entertainment fields.

Confirmed College and Career Fair companies include CCP and Hi-Rez Studios, while schools include: Westwood College, The Art Institute of Atlanta, American Intercontinental University, DeVry University, Savannah College of Art and Design, Southern Polytechnic State University, The University of Georgia, Georgia Gwinnett College, and others.

As the Southeast’s leading gaming and interactive conference, SIEGE brings together students and professionals from across the region to celebrate the world of gaming.
