Set to tackle Europe on April 16, along with Rugby League Challenge for the PSP.

Castleford Yorkshire England , – March 30th , 2010 – Alternative Software Ltd are pleased to announce that on April 16th they will be releasing in Europe " Rugby League 3 " for the Nintendo Wii™, developed by leading game studio Sidhe and published in association with Home Entertainment Supplies of Australia.This title continues the highly successful “Rugby League” franchise of games and follows on from "Rugby League Challenge" for the Sony PSP handheld which was launched earlier this month.

Create and customise players, teams, and competitions and tune the gameplay to your preferred playing style using the extensive customisation tools Several different key camera angles are available from which to play Broadcast style presentation with enhanced replay angles, cut-scenes, match highlights, and in-game commentary from Andrew Voss of Channel 9 in Australia English and French instructions and in game menus

The features of “Rugby League Challenge” include:

Quality 3D graphics and fast, furious, totally addictive game play. All the official Super League and NRL teams are present and available to play allowing players to play through an entire season of rounds, leading up to the Grand Final Use strategy to manage your club and train up key players in key positions to enhance your own attack and defence styles. A "Quick Match" mode: is available from the main menu, so that game players can jump straight into the action and play a quick match against their favourite foes in a range of various difficulty levels There is also a "Season Mode" where: teams will play each other through the regular season, through to the Grand Final. New opposition team statistics are generated at the start of each new season making for different team strengths and weaknesses every time you play Game players can make strategic decisions on training their match players in various areas. These statistics are represented within the game play with match players being able to physically move faster, kick further and more accurately and have more chance of successfully tackling or resisting tackles Several different key camera angles from which to play,
