Roni Size Swaps Beats For Burnt Rubber To Play Fans On Xbox Live
February 2006 - Mercury Music Prize winning DJ will be swapping his turntable for tarmac to play his fans on the Xbox 360TM game, Project Gotham Racing® 3 (MGS-Bizarre Creations) on Xbox LiveTM.
Roni will be chatting and playing exclusively with Xbox Live gamers on Thursday 23rd February from 5.30 - 6.30pm GMT (6.30 - 7.30pm CET) in a special 'Game With Fame' from Val d'Isère, France. Roni is a special guest at the Xbox® Big Day Out festival - a unique freestyle ski and snowboard competition - which celebrates its tenth anniversary on the slopes, with a crowd of 15,000 people planning to jump in and play together on the peaks of Val d'Isère.
Roni Size is one of the UK jungle scene's most respected names. His influence as a producer, label owner and DJ has made him one of the emerging sound's true pioneers.
The Roni Size event is part of the ongoing Xbox Live 'Game With Fame' programme and is just one of the many opportunities Xbox Live gamers will have to take on some of the biggest names in the entertainment world. This month's Game With Fame star joins a growing list of artists, like McFly, The Strokes, Kasabian, Embrace, Maroon 5, Thrills and Goldie Lookin Chain, who have all connected with their fans through Xbox Live.
