Rockpool Become 'Best Developer' Finalists In The First Annual Mobile Entertainment Awards

Manchester, United Kingdom - 2nd August 2006 -- Rockpool Games is delighted to make it through to the final round of the prestigious new Mobile Entertainment Awards, which is set to become the premier showcase for talent in the Mobile Industry.
Rockpool are proud to be included in the final ceremony, to be held on 19th September 2006 in Kensington, London and are confident that they will be rewarded for their dedicated approach to the industry.
Mobile Entertainment Magazine, who run the awards, comment in their latest publication, "it took the 'traditional' game [development] sector 30 years to get to PS2 Level, it's taken mobile about five". This refers to the speed at which mobile developers such as Rockpool have rapidly employed the latest technology in the mobile space.
