Darmstadt, 28th September 2007 - Starting today, eager Boulder Dash® and Rockford fans can marvel at new material surrounding their loveable hero at www.boulder-dash-rocks.com. The official Boulder Dash®-ROCKS! trailer, found on the site by selecting the Videos (flickering TV) section of the Jungle planet, shows new images from the game, which is scheduled for release in November 2007 (Nintendo DS) and in the first quarter of 2008 (Sony PSP), respectively, and sends Rockford and his vicious end-game boss enemy on an animated chase through jungle, lava, water and underworld landscapes, which along with the characters, are rendered in 3D . While visiting the game site, you can also learn many interesting tidbits about the updated version of the cult classic. Boulder Dash®-ROCKS! is being co-published world-wide with First Star Software, Inc. and distributed Europe-wide by Electronic Arts.

The original challenging and entertaining, arcade-puzzle game made its debut in the early 80s and continues to fascinate its enormous fan base decades later. Today the game is acknowledged as one of the classic cult games in computer and video gaming history. Now Boulder Dash® will appear with several new gameplay modes as well as a hot new look sure to take the Nintendo DS and the Sony PSP platforms by storm. The hit game's main objective and game physics remains unchanged: the player has to collect a certain number of diamonds while avoiding falling objects, traps and besting enemies in order to open and discover the exit, before time runs out.
