Revenues down for Infospace

Q1 results in line with expectations

Infospace has revealed first quarter revenues for 2007 of USD 86.6 million (EUR 63.5m), a 4 per cent decrease compared to 2006 results.

Revenues from mobile were also down 6 per cent to USD 41.6 million (EUR 20.5m) in the first quarter, a decrese of USD 2.5 million (EUR 1.8m).

However, the company pointed to a number of highlights over the past year, including an extension of its relationship with Google and the signing of six new distribution partners, and is confident of future growth.

"Although mobile media revenues declined as expected, revenues from our core online and mobile business showed strong sequential increases and generated strong cash flow," commented Jim Voelker, CEO of Infospace.

"The recent announcement of several key partnerships reflects our strength and give us good reason to be optimisitic for the year ahead," he added.
