GfK Chart-Track
‘Chart-Track Ltd’ took over Gallup’s chart contracts in March 1996. The company was formed by the ex-Gallup charts team with the full support of ELSPA and IRMA (the trade body for the Irish music industry for whom we also produce charts). The two major clients each own 20% and 25% respectively of the company. With effect from July 1, GfK acquired a further 46% shares within Chart-Track Limited in addition to the existing 9% shares it already held.
The company has established an unparalleled reputation for fast and accurate retail research on a wide range of home entertainment products.
Our operations encompass the UK, Ireland, Denmark and through our collaboration with Gfk and Media Control GfK, pan-European software reports.
The GfK Chart-Track/ELSPA Reports provide the most comprehensive information available on the video games markets in the UK.
