Resonance of Fate

Taking a closer look at some of the costumes in the RPG.

SEGA Europe Ltd. today released screenshots showcasing just a small selection of the abundant costume choices available in its upcoming Japanese role-playing game, Resonance of Fate. The development team at tri-Ace have rendered in-game cut-scenes in real-time, to provide a seamless and immersive experience as players’ costume choices are sustained throughout combat, town exploration and story sequences.

To complement their clothing selections, players will be able to customise characters’ hair and eye colour and choose from an array of accessories, including belts and eyewear. These items will become available throughout the course of the game as pick-ups or as purchases from the in-game boutique.

In addition to balancing their own creativity and sense of humour to design a collection to turn fashionistas’ heads, the development team partnered with guest artists YUTOONZ (Yutanpo Shirane + IMAITOONZ), TOKYO ALICE, feebee and Kentaro "ANI" Fujimoto (Nendo Graphixxx) to create additional pieces.

From the studio of heralded RPG developers, tri-Ace, Resonance of Fate adds a fresh spin to the genre with a new cinematic action gameplay system centered around gun-play and a fascinating steampunk-styled world.

Resonance of Fate will be released in Europe on 26th March 2010.
