Registration opens for Xtreme Cyber Mania

Starr Group, the organiser of consumer show Xtreme Cyber Mania 2005, has announced that advance online registration is now available for those wishing to attend the event.

Xtreme Cyber Mania is described as "the ultimate gamers' expo where attendees can test drive games, engage in friendly play and compete in an atmosphere featuring the real 3D world of light and sound effects."

Titles for PS2, Xbox and GameCube will be available for attendees to view and play, along with a technology pavilion, children's area, educational section, live entertainment, exhibition booths and state-of-the-art "Gamer Tables".

In addition there will be an electronic sports area hosting tournaments and autograph sessions, and spectators will be able to view gameplay on large LCD displays.

The event will be opened by MLG pro gamers Zyos and Walshy, the World Cyber Game Halo champions, and runs between May 27-29 at Chicago's Navy Pier. Prices range from $7 for spectators up to $25 for players, with a discount for those registering in advance.
