Think Services, organisers of the Game Developers Conference, and Connection Events have announced that registration for the Paris Game Developers Conference is now open via its website.

Paris GDC 08 is the 2nd French edition of the Game Developers Conference and will be held on June 23-24 in Paris at the Coeur Dîfense Convention Center.

"After the success of the first French GDC held in Lyon in 2007, we are convinced that both national and international top developers will gather at Paris GDC in June," said Pierre Carde, Paris GDC executive director.

"We want this conference to be the European key meeting place to present and discuss the technical issues of the video game industry."

The two-day event will offer more than 50 sessions presented by industry experts and designed specifically for developers looking to expand their expertise, network, and learn from their peers. There will be tracks dedicated to programming/coding, game design, visual arts, production and business/management.

"Europe plays a leading edge role in global game development today, particularly in core and casual game innovation," said Jamil Moledina, executive director, GDC events.

"As more diverse people are now playing games and want to create their own experiences, our forum for sharing knowledge and breakthrough development serves a timely purpose for today's European developers."

The super early bird registration rate will apply through April 23.
