Vice President of Engineering Joins the Independent MMO Development Studio's Tribe
Aliso Viejo, CA and Shanghai - March 19, 2008 - Michael Weingartner has joined the independent massively multiplayer online developer Red 5 Studios as Vice President of Engineering, bringing with him years of experience building and improving leading server technologies. Before joining the former World of Warcraft team leads who founded Red 5, Michael led the development of key enterprise server solutions at Oracle as their Vice President of Server Technology. At Red 5 Studios he expects to break new ground in applying his experience with server systems to a brand new, innovative MMO.
