Ticket info released for the South African games and tech expo.

South Africa’s biggest consumer gaming and technology expo is taking place from 2 – 4 October 2009 at the Coca-Cola Dome in Northgate. Now in its 7th year, rAge 2009 is a mind blowing interactive entertainment exhibition that has something to offer everyone – from hard core gamers to newbies just getting in on the gaming fringe to technocrats who love everything technology and gadgets have to offer in our wired world. rAge 2009 is a cutting-edge showcase of the best computer and videogames, technology, gadgets and lifestyle entertainment products in the industry and is the ultimate escapist destination this October.

For a mere R50 per person, a weekend pass of R80 per person or a family pass of R160 (two adults and two children), visitors can indulge in a selection of the latest in PC and console gaming, computer hardware and software, gaming peripherals, digital lifestyle gear, local game development studios, gaming apparel and accessories, media and creative arts colleges, comics, anime, figurines, trading cards, the latest tech gear, movies, music and much more.

rAge 2009 will also feature the sleep-depriving three day NAG LAN event where 1,800 gaming enthusiasts will have exclusive access to a mind-blowing weekend of uninterrupted networked gaming. Besides getting the chance to test your mettle against some of the best gamers in the country, a NAG LAN ticketholder will have free access to the rAge expo for the duration of the weekend to buy gaming hardware and chat up some booth babes. The entire event translates into a gaming fanatic’s ultimate experience.

A NAG LAN ticket will cost R250 per person for the entire weekend with bookings opening at Computicket on Saturday, 1 August 2009. Get there early to avoid disappointment! It is set to be the biggest gaming LAN in South Africa, with 1,800 avid computers gamers connected to one network for 53 hours of earth shattering and adrenalin-filled gaming. (Gamers must bring their own computers)
