Quazal Celebrates Release of Supreme Commander™ with Gas Powered Games

Montreal, Quebec - March 8th, 2007 - Quazal Technologies Inc., the industry-leading provider of online gaming technology, would like to extend a hearty congratulations to the teams at Gas Powered Games and THQ Inc. for the release of their heavily-anticipated RTS, Supreme Commander.

Using Quazal's Rendez-Vous to power GPGnet, Gas Powered Games' online matchmaking system, the company has created a title that is on track to become the de facto competitive RTS for a long time to come.

Supreme Commander was named Best Strategy Game at E3 2006, and has since been named an Editors' Choice by PC Gamer.

"We worked very closely with the engineering team at Quazal to ensure that Supreme Commander players enjoyed an excellent online experience", said Kent McNall, president of Gas Powered Games. "The operations team at Quazal has worked with us every step of the way to make sure that the servers will handle what is already a huge number of players."

"Supreme Commander is definitely one of the biggest titles we've ever worked with," said Mike Drummelsmith, Developer Relations Manager at Quazal. "We're looking forward to seeing the userbase grow over time, and also to see what other tricks the team at Gas Powered Games has up its sleeve for the future!"

Released in February 2007, Supreme Commander allows users to control hundreds, sometimes thousands of units as they vie for domination over their opponents. With a full single-player campaign and multiple 2-8 player multiplayer modes, the game allows for some of the best strategic play of any title on the market.
