LONDON, SAN DIEGO and ROME - 5th December 2006 - QUALCOMM Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), a leading developer and innovator of advanced wireless technologies and data solutions, along with leading mobile game publishers Electronic Arts (EA) and Gameloft, today announced the commercial availability of wireless data services based on QUALCOMM's BREW® solution for TIM customers. TIM, the largest mobile operator in Italy, is now offering a variety of new mobile games via the BREW Gaming Signature Solution with an initial line up of premium 3D titles from EA and Gameloft. Additionally, TIM subscribers will have access to 'Idle Mode' services, downloadable 'Themes' and direct access to content using QUALCOMM's uiOne offering, which is focused on driving revenue via integrated, dynamic user experiences on wireless devices.

TIM subscribers can now purchase and download over-the-air, high-quality "native" wireless games, including Asphalt: Urban GT 2 - 3D; Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood; Massive Snowboarding from Gameloft; EA SPORTS Fight Night Round 3; EA SPORTS 2006 FIFA World Cup and EA Bowling.

Users purchasing the Samsung Z630 handset will be able to access a free download of Asphalt: Urban GT 2 - 3D and free download demos of the other titles. Users purchasing the ONDA Communication N5050 will have access to pre-loaded demo versions of most titles.

"With the commercial launch of these advanced mobile games, TIM now offers Italian mobile users an exciting and immersive mobile gaming experience," said Peggy Johnson, president of QUALCOMM Internet Services and QUALCOMM MediaFLO Technologies. "We are excited to offer this initial line up of 3D gaming titles from EA and Gameloft - names that have become synonymous with innovation and high performance in the mobile gaming world."

"We continue to realise tremendous value from the BREW solution, as it has enabled us to publish and develop some of the most advanced mobile games available today and efficiently deliver and monetise them to users around the world," said Javier Ferreira, vice president, European publishing, EA. "With gaming as one of the most exciting and dynamic sectors in the mobile entertainment space, we believe that the relationship between TIM and QUALCOMM will significantly raise the bar for mobile gamers in Europe."

"TIM's deployment of the BREW Gaming Signature Solution provides Gameloft with an opportunity to expand our native games portfolio in Europe, a market in which we expect to see increased demand for higher-quality mobile games," said Gonzague de Vallois, vice president of publishing, Gameloft. "However, the real winners are TIM's subscribers, as they will be able to enjoy some of the most advanced wireless services and 3D games available anywhere in the world."
