Qantm to help address national skills shortages

Private videogame college will attend Skills London 2008 and the BBC Blast on Tour

Qantm College has announced it will be attending two career events aimed at the 14-19 year old demographic, in a bid to help address national skills shortages.

The private videogames college will be taking a stand at Skills London 2008 and the BBC Blast on Tour for its three-day event in Oxford.

"This year Qantm will not only be attending these events to represent itself, but also the game development industry as a whole. We have a national skills shortage and need to be engaging with pupils and teachers at secondary schools to highlight the great opportunities available to them," said Nic Oliver, international & domestic marketing manager for Qantm College.

"Attending Skills London and joining the BBC's Blast Tour are just two small steps in the right direction. We're calling on the industry to help us do more."
