Pure Football

To be plugged by Steven Gerrard.

LONDON, UK – March, 25th 2010 – Ubisoft® today announced its partnership with the Liverpool FC captain and new England vice-captain, Steven Gerrard in Pure Football TM . The game will be available worldwide in May 2010 for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Windows PC.

In Pure Football TM , players can choose Stevie G. among 230 elite footballers, 17 international teams, and 17 legendary players. The Liverpool FC number 8 has won 2 FA and League Cups, as well as the UEFA Cup in 2001 and the UEFA Champions League 2004-05 in 2005, following Liverpool's Gerrard inspired comeback in the Final. Last year, Gerrard was named as the 2009 FWA Footballer of the Year, becoming the first Liverpool player to win the award in nineteen years.
