The first list of publishers to commit to exhibiting at Games Market Europe, the new trade event which is scheduled to run in London this Autumn, has been announced - with four major companies on the list to attend.

Ubisoft, Codemasters, Buena Vista Games and huge massively multiplayer specialist NCSoft are the first four publishers to join the list, and will be exhibiting on August 31st and September 1st at the Business Design Centre in Islington.

The event is being organised by Andy Lane, former event director of the ECTS shows, and is being supported by ELSPA - which was recently forced to cancel its own EGN event due to the failure of the Game Zone Live consumer show which it piggy-backed.

"This is just the start," according to Lane. "We've had support from all areas of the industry since we announced the event and we're in the process of confirming and finalising agreements with many companies in the industry, from small organisations to the major players."

Registration for visitors and press alike is now available at the Games Market Europe website.
