Professional Gamer Training Academy launch

THE PROFESSIONAL GAMER TRAINING ACADEMY (PGTA) IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT IT LAUNCHED ITS WEBSITE ON 22nd August 2009, OFFERING PROFESSIONAL TRAINING BY VIDEO GAMERS TO ALL LEVELS OF GAMER, FROM BEGINNERS TO THOSE WANTING TO COMPETE IN TOURNAMENTS.

The Professional Gamer Training Academy today announced the launch of its internet based training business on www.pgta-training.com, on 22nd August 2009 . The company is hiring some of the top gamers in the UK today and teaching them how to teach what they know and how to develop structured training courses.

Who are PGTA?

PGTA has been started by Kathy Zablotzky, also known by her gamertag of Snuggles. Kathy ran her own training company for 10 years. During this time she ran “Train the Trainer” courses for Pitmans College, teaching instructors how to teach and how to develop structured training courses.

Kathy became involved in professional gaming when In 2007 she entered the Championship Gaming Series Dead or Alive 4 tournament. Kathy won the women’s tournament and UK championship. She was asked to join the London Mint professional gaming team by the Manager, Sujoy Roy. London Mint went on to become UK Champions and got to the quarter finals of the world finals in Los Angeles in December 2007.

What does the Professional Gamer Training Academy do?

PGTA is offering a range of structured lessons in a range of games, by trained instructors. Lessons range from introductory to advanced.
