New Dallas-based mobile publisher to launch first iPhone games shortly.
Dallas - September 16, 2009 - Primus Productions, a new publisher of applications for all mobile devices, officially launched today. Primus, headquartered in Dallas, will be debuting its first three titles for the iPhone and other mobile devices within the next few weeks. These titles will include a hotel reservation application powered by the travel industry's biggest names, a mobile golf tee-time reservation application powered by a pioneer in the business of golf distribution and reservations technology,and a political satire game based on current politics and policies.
Primus was started with the goal of teaming up with independent developers around the country to publish games led the team that created the affiliate program for Hotels.com in the late 1990's, and worked as an executive atHotels.com until 2004. During his 6 years at Hotels.com, he held positions including Sr. Director of Golf Services, Sr. Director of Strategic Corporate Accounts, and Sr. Director of Internet Business Development and Affiliate Marketing. Primus CTO, Lane Roathe, is a co-founder of id Software and has played a key role in the production and/or development of over 100 published software products with roles including VP of Development, producer, and programmer.
