Playtika acquires Austrian mobile developer Supertreat

Deal latest in mobile company's spending spree

Israel-based mobile company Playtika today announced the acquisition of Austrian developer Supertreat.

This is the latest in a recent spending spree for Playtika, which recently acquired casual game studio Wooga, and mobile developer Jelly Button Games last year.

The Supertreat acquisition brings with it the Solitaire Grand Harvest app, the No. 4 grossing card game on Google Play.

"We are confident that by leveraging our live ops, game economy, and performance marketing expertise we will make Solitaire Grand Harvest the number one solitaire game in the market," said Playtika chief marketing officer Nir Korczak.

Supertreat co-founder and CEO Christian Baumgartner added: "The success of Solitaire Grand Harvest gave us the opportunity and flexibility to select our ideal partner to grow the game even further and we are thrilled to have chosen Playtika.

"They've proven multiple times that they know how to scale a game post-acquisition and we expect to see similar success for Solitaire Grand Harvest."
