Swedish developer and publisher PlayLogic is working on an undisclosed first-party title with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe.

Dutch developer and publisher PlayLogic is working on an undisclosed first-party title with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe.

The project is being developed over seven months and is in collaboration with Sony's London Studio, the team behind the online initiatives of Home and SingStar for the PS3.

"Over the past two years we have build a great relationship with SCEE," commented PlayLogic executive VP Rogier W. Smit.

"We have solid development assets and resources at our disposal at our in-house facility in the Netherlands and have the ability to deliver quickly."

PlayLogic has a growing relationship with Sony, having recently been granted full publishing rights for the North American region.

The Amsterdam-based firm is also seeking further investment having enlisted the help of finance specialist Spencer Clarke. Last year, the company saw profits rise 71 per cent.

"The cooperation between SCEE and PlayLogic Game Factory has proven to be very successful," added Igor Frid, MD of PlayLogics' development studio.

"We deliver high quality products using flexible and innovative development methodologies which enable us to develop innovative titles in close cooperation with SCEE London Studio."
