Player X teams with Sky for Mind Aerobics

Promises six-figure marketing budget

Player X is launching Carol Vorderman's Mind Aerobics for mobile handsets.

The game is to be supported by a six-figure marketing budget across TV, online and radio, along with endorsement from TV personality Carol Vorderman.

"Casual mobile games that both entertain and educate are loved by mobile gamers and Mind Aerobics is a perfect example of the genre," commented Tony Pearce, CEO of Player X.

"The launch on mobile backed up by a huge marketing spend will create a loyal community of gamers," he added.

The games boasts connected features including buddy lists and a tournament mode, with player scores posted on mobile and online leaderboards.

"With versions for PC, mobile and Sky television, Carol Vorderman's Mind Aerobics offers a way for everyone, no matter where they are, to keep their mind healthy, stimulated and active," offered Andy Nuttal, head of games at Sky.
