Play Ten Interactive acquisition

Now stablemates with Russobit-M and GFI following acquisition by Russia's Bestway group.

Moscow, Russia, October, 13 - Russian computer game publisher Play Ten Interactive (PTI), founded in 2005, becomes a part of the Bestway group. The group itself was formed earlier this year as the merger of Russobit-M and Game Factory Interactive.

Russobit-M has exclusively distributed PTI products for the past few years; they are also presented at GamePitStop.RU , the leading Russian digital distribution service operated by Bestway.

Irina Mizrakhi, president of Russobit-M, comments: «This acquisition is a logical step in the growth of Bestway group. PTI has been our reliable partner for years. In the Russian market, the joint company will have the marketing and production capacity to handle our quickly growing product line. Internationally, we will be able to provide a better diversified lineup to our partners.»

As a result of this acquisition, Bestway group controls three Russian publishers (Russobit-M, GFI, PTI) as well as several large online projects. Further acquisitions are planned in early 2009.

The privately held group was formed in May 2008 in the merger of Russobit-M and Game Factory Interactive (GFI). Play Ten Interactive was acquired by the group in October 2008. Bestway expects its 2008 sales to exceed USD 40M, which puts it in the top five computer entertainment publishers in Russia and CIS.
