Perry honoured by Queen's University Belfast

David Perry, former Shiny Entertainment boss and videogame consultant, has been awarded an honorary degree by Queen's University Belfast.

David Perry, former Shiny Entertainment boss and videogame consultant, has been awarded an honorary degree by Queen's University Belfast.

Perry is part of this year's honorary graduate list which includes former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, Taioseach Berite Ahern, actress Joanna Lumley, and Northern Ireland peace campaigners Rev Harold Good and Father Alec Reid.

Perry will receive a diploma in science engineering for distinction in computer game development and design, at the University's forthcoming Centenary celebrations this July.

The Earthworm Jim and Enter the Matrix developer grew up in Northern Ireland and attended school in Belfast.
