Ozura Mobile Announces Plans To Enter India In Distribution Deal With Mobile2win

SEPTEMBER 6, 2006

SINGAPORE, Sept 6: Ozura Mobile, a wholly owned subsidiary of Nextnation Communication and a leading international publisher and developer of mobile entertainment, today announced a distribution agreement with Mobile2win, India's innovative mobile entertainment solution for consumers.

As part of the agreement, Mobile2win will be introducing Ozura's game titles to mobile subscribers throughout India via its distribution networks which include India's leading mobile carriers - Airtel, Hutch and BPL.

This announcement underlines Ozura's intention to boost its mobile game presence in one of the world's emerging markets.

"We are pleased to collaborate with Mobile2win as part of our efforts in extending our distribution networks. Working closely in affiliation with Mobile2win will invariably strengthen our presence in the Indian market," said H.E. Mah, Ozura's Vice President of Marketing.

Data from the Indian Mobile Market 2006 reveals that the number of mobile subscribers in India is forecasted to reach 115.3 million in 2007 and this will make India the third largest mobile market in the world, behind only China and the USA.

Diffusion Group, a research consultancy firm which focuses on digital home and connected consumer, has also made the same assertion in their latest report (July 2006) stating that the number of total mobile subscribers in India is expected to increase from 100 million today to more than 348 million by the end of 2010.

These projections represent the much expected boom in the growth of mobile users in the Indian market. India will become the third largest mobile market in the world by 2007 and Ozura aims to fully capitalise on this lucrative market. According to In-Stat/MDR, a leading provider of research, assessments and market forecast, the Indian mobile gaming market is expected to generate an annual revenue of USD336 million by 2009.

"As mobile subscribers in the Indian market are increasing due to affordable rates, we plan to aggressively expand our business to meet these customers' lifestyle needs and Mobile2win fits in perfectly in assisting us to reach this market," added Mah.

Mobile2win has a great deal of experience with marketing. The company has released a number of titles and created distribution channels through wireless networks and portals as well as through retail channels. Its superior wireless solutions for its clients such as Coca Cola, Nokia and Warner Bros have significantly increased its clients' Return on Investment (ROI) in terms of marketing expenditures for brand building.

Some of the initial titles of Ozura that Mobile2win will make available for download include Underground Racer, 1943 Sky War, Kung Fu Fighters, Angry Lion, Ghost Hunter RPG, Life Saver, Road Trip and Eggz.
