Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, March 24 2006 - Ozura Mobile, Malaysia's leading developer of mobile phone games today launched Malaysia's largest and first ever 'live' mobile game competition - Beauty Queen.
Beauty Queen is expected to be the catalyst that introduces mobile gaming to the mass market in Malaysia and is Ozura's latest mobile game. Developed specially for mobile phones, the appropriately titled game features Miss Malaysia 2004 Ms. Gloria Ting. Gamer will get to play the role of Gloria as she goes about her daily life.
The mobile game competition is structured into 3 heats culminating in the grand finals. To keep things interesting, each heat features a new edition of the Beauty Queen game. Each new edition features the same outstanding graphics and becomes progressively more challenging with the release of each game.
Beauty Queen will run for a total of 7 months beginning March 2006, with the Grand Finals being held in October 2006. The top 3 winners of each heat will get to compete 'live' in a shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur. A total of RM25,000 in cash prizes is being offered, plus a dinner with Gloria for the Grand Winner!
Gamers can download the game by typing "ON BQ" and sending it to 39355 on their mobile phone or visit www.fonwar.com to find out more. After the end of the game, gamers can then upload their score via GPRS to the Beauty Queen gaming web and wapsite. They will be able to check their game ranking via the internet or WAP. There is no limit to the number of score uploads (or entries) thus providing gamers with the chance to obtain the highest ranking possible based on their scores.
