Oxventure raising money for Mind with Xmas charity single

The teams behind Outside Xbox and Outside Xtra smashed a £10,000 funding target during a charity livestream to raise money for the mental health charity Mind.

The livestream was conducted by a mixture of the Outside Xbox and Outside Xtra teams, as the Dungeons and Dragons group The Oxventurers Guild. Collectively, they are launching a charity Christmas single, and used Twitch to raise awareness around their efforts.

From a £10,000 JustGiving target, the group raised £35,000 during the livestream, and that total has climbed to almost £40,000 at the time of writing.

Donations are still open, but it's possible to contribute by purchasing a copy of the D&D themed charity single, Literally Everyone Else in the World.

"We're truly grateful for anything you can give," Oxventures said. "So this holiday season, don't be a Dob and throw your money into a lake. Use it to make a difference to the lives of people suffering with mental health issues."

The single is available to buy and stream from iTunes, Amazon Music, Google Play, Spotify and other stores for £0.99. It is currently number one on the Amazon music list.
