OneNine Studios reveals mobile plans

Start-up currently working on GoPets title

New development team OneNine Studios has revealed it's busy working on a mobile title based on the GoPets social networking game.

The company, which includes employees from Gameloft, Activision and Vicarious Visions, is also currently looking for opportunities in the handheld and casual markets.

OneNine already has a deal in place to create a mobile game with GoPets, the company behind the online gaming and social networking community, which boasts over 500,000 registered users.

"OneNine is dedicated to making great games for both casual and hardcore markets, on all possible platforms," reads a company statement.

"We are looking to expand into DS and PSP development, as well as games for the web/downloadable and Xbox Live Arcade markets."

"With the extensive talent we have assembled, we are fast becoming a leader in these and other emerging handheld and casual game markets," said the company.
