Melbourne, Australia, 4 September 2006 - Dissecta presents Old World New Games, including Australian launch party for War World, 19th September at 6:30pm. This latest Dissecta event will focus on the game industry in Europe and the synergies present for local game makers and distributors.
Tom Crago, CEO of Tantalus Interactive, will report on the recently held Leipzig Game Convention, while Morten Brodersen, CEO of Third Wave Games and Martin Wilkes, Games Manager at Stomp, will discuss Europe and video games, and provide a snapshot of the travels of PC game War World to a European publisher and local distribution.
War World has been developed by Third Wave Games and the retail version will be distributed by Stomp to retail stores in Australia in September. After the formal presentations Dissecta will have its first video game launch party, to celebrate local distribution of the retail version of War World for PC. Celebrate with the developer and distributor over complimentary networking drinks, play the game, and have a chance to win a signed copy of the retail version of War World.
