OGDC 2007 Brings Hundreds of Online Game Industry Attendees to Seattle

Online Game Development Conference 2007 Received as an Overwhelming Success

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SEATTLE, Wash., May 15, 2007 - The Online Game Development Conference (OGDC) 2007 concluded on a high note on Friday May 11th, after having brought over three hundred and fifty diverse, experienced online game industry attendees from all corners of the globe to Seattle, Washington for two information-packed days.

The "Connect Your Brain" theme of OGDC 2007 was effectively addressed through the robust engine of lectures and panels and keynotes, eighty sessions in all. These sessions covered topics such as data mining, the future of online consoles, how to localize content between Eastern and Western markets, and dozens more. Additionally, two official networking parties gave attendees opportunities to further connect with each other in the casual yet upscale Garden Room of the official conference hotel, the Fairmont Olympic. In summary, OGDC 2007 successfully achieved its goal of informing attendees about current and future trends, tools and technology within the online game industry.

"We wanted to bring a top-quality event to the online game developer community, and I feel we accomplished that objective," stated Peter Freese, Conference Director for OGDC 2007. "The supportive and positive feedback from attendees, sponsors and speakers shows we're bringing something new, valuable and much-needed to the table."

"The caliber of both presenters and attendees, combined with the professionalism of the OGDC team make this a key event to put on your calendar," commented Charles F. Manning, President and CEO for PLAYXPERT.
