Nordic Game 2010

Fellas from Unity Technologies and PlayDead Games to speak.

The final additions to the Nordic Game 2010 conference program have been confirmed. Brett Seyler, VP Strategy at Unity Technologies, and Jeppe Carlsen, lead designer at double IGF award winners PlayDead Games, will be joining this year’s conference as speakers.

Brett Seyler will be talking about “Where Unity is Going (and Why)”, giving attendees an updated understanding of opportunities for game developers in the web and mobile spaces, while Jeppe Carlsen will explain the design principles behind the puzzles of forthcoming Xbox LIVE Arcade game “LIMBO”, a game that took two awards at the prestigious Independent Game Festival 2010.

“We are very happy to announce these final sessions for our program”, said Jacob Riis, Communications Director at Nordic Game. “They represent two of the most successful Nordic companies right now, and the fact that they’re ready to share their knowledge is a fantastic opportunity for our delegates”.

The two speakers complete a conference program already filled with great success stories from the Nordic gaming industry. Other examples include Finnish Rovio, the team responsible for the multi-million seller “Angry Birds” on iPhone, and a talk from Tero Virtala, CEO of RedLynx, the company behind award-winning XBLA game “Trials HD”.

Nordic Game 2010 is on 27-30 April, and less than two weeks away! Register now and download the full Nordic Game 2010 conference program at www.nordicgame.com.
