The second version of Nokia's N-Gage hardware has arrived at US retail outlets, with its launch in the territory being supported by rebates which bring the price down to $99 and the bundling of Tony Hawks Pro Skater with all units sold.

The second version of Nokia's N-Gage hardware has arrived at US retail outlets, with its launch in the territory being supported by rebates which bring the price down to $99 and the bundling of Tony Hawks Pro Skater with all units sold.

N-Gage QD has already launched in the rest of the world, with the Finnish mobile phone giant opting for a relatively quiet "soft" launch for the device in other global territories, while the US launch was delayed by a month in order to plan a larger-scale launch.

While the suggested retail price for the QD in the USA is $199, a large number of retailers have collaborated with Nokia to provide instant or mail-in rebates bringing the price of the console to $99.

The system, which has been redesigned to fix many of the design faults with the original N-Gage, is also being bundled with a copy of Activision's Tony Hawks Pro Skater as an additional consumer incentive.
