TIGA's latest member.

 

TIGA, the trade association representing the UK games industry,today announced Ninja Theory, the Cambridge (UK) based development studio, as its newest member.

 

Following the success of the critically acclaimed “Heavenly Sword™” in 2007, Ninja Theory’s latest offering “Enslaved™: Journey to the West™” will be released in Europe for PS3™ and Xbox 360® on October 8 th.

Known for their Hollywood style cinematics, visuals and storytelling, Ninja Theory’s adaptation of the classic Chinese Novel “Journey to the West” has been co-written by novelist and screenwriter Alex Garland (The Beach, 28 Days Later) and co-directed by Andy Serkis (Lord of the Rings, King Kong).

 

Nina Kristensen, Founder and Chief Development at Ninja Theory explained the company’s decision to join TIGA: “The UK is one of the best places in the world to develop games, and by joining TIGA we are playing our role in helping to keep it that way”.

 

Dr. Richard Wilson, TIGA CEO welcomed the company to TIGA: “Ninja Theory is a company of world-class creativity and boundless ambition. At TIGA we are extremely proud to represent the UK development community and look forward to working with Ninja Theory in the coming months and years.”
